My guest on Friday June 15 will be Dr. Kommy Weldemariam. He has been serving as a computer scientist for several years. Currently, Dr. Kommy is a Senior Technical Staff Member (STSM), Manager and Master Inventor at IBM Research – Africa Labs. He Kommy has co-authored more than 60 scientific articles and filed more than 80 inventions. Dr. Kommy received a B.S. from Addis Ababa University, a M.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, and a Ph.D. from the University of Trento (Italy), all in Computer Science. Recently, Kommy was named one of Africa’s Most Influential Young Scientist, a Fellow of the Next Einstein Forum and honored as an Emerging Young Scientist at the World Economic Forum.
የዛሬ እንግዳዬ ዶክተር ኮሚ ወልደማሪያም ይባላል። ላለፉት በርካታ ዓመታት በኮምፒውተር ሳይንቲስትነት እያገለገለ የሚገኝ ባለሞያ ነው። ባሁኑ ሰዓት በIBM ውስጥ Senior Technical Staff Member (STSM), Manager and Master Inventor at IBM Research – Africa Labs ውስጥ እየሰራ የሚገኘው ዶክተር ኮሚ ከ60 በላይ የምርምር ጽሁፍ እና ከ80 በላይ የፈጠራ መብት ባለቤትነት ያለው ሲሆን፣ የዶክትሬት ዲግሪውን ከጣልያኑ University of Trento፣ የማስተርስ ዲግሪውን ከIndian Institute of Technology Bombay፣ አንዲሁም የመጀመሪያ ዲግሪውን ከአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርስቲ በኮምፒውተር ሳይንስ ተቀብሏል። በቅርቡ የአፍሪካ ወጣት ተጽዕኖ ፈጣሪ ሳይንቲስት፣ የNext Einstein Forum ፌሎው እንዲሁም በWorld Economic Forum ብቅ እያሉ ካሉ ወይት ሳይንቲስቶ አንዱ ሆኖ የተመረጠውና በብሎክቼይን እና በሰው ሰራሽ ክህሎት (AI) ኤክስፐርት የሆነው ዶክተር ኮሚ በርካታ ቁምነገሮችን ለማውጋት ከኔ ጋር ያደረገው የክፍል 1 ቆይታ እነሆ!
