Access Blocked Websites with UltraSurf Free Tool

by admin

Ultrasurf is a product of Ultrareach Internet Corporation. Originally created to help internet users in China find security and freedom online, Ultrasurf has now become one of the world’s most popular anti-censorship, pro-privacy software, with millions of people using it to bypass internet censorship and protect their online privacy.

Ultrasurf is a free software that enables users to visit websites safely and freely through a secure, encrypted tunnel. Please read this carefully to understand what protection Ultrasurf provides, as well as what the limitations and the potential risks are if not used properly.

What Ultrasurf does

  • Helps you to circumvent internet censorship to access websites and content you cannot normally access
  • Encrypts communication from your computer to Ultrasurf proxy servers
  • Hides your IP address from the websites you visit; websites only see Ultrasurf proxy servers’ IP addresses

Limitations

  • Ultrasurf is currently only available for PCs and is not supported by Mac OS or Linux operating systems.
  • Ultrasurf only protects information relayed through the user’s web browser. Other applications, such as mail clients, Skype, and similar services are not subject to encryption.
  • Ultrasurf is not responsible if users voluntarily divulge personally identifying information online, such as real names or contact information. We advise users to educate themselves about additional precautions they should take to protect themselves, especially when using Social Networking websites.
  • Encryption is between your computer and Ultrasurf proxy servers. Normal web traffic (http) is not encrypted between Ultrasurf and web servers, while secure web traffic (https) is encrypted from user’s computer to the web server. Ultrasurf relays https traffic without interception.
  • It is possible that a third party may be able to determine that an individual is using the Ultrasurf tool, though they will be unable to decrypt your data or view your browsing activities.
  • If someone is able to see your screen, for instance if you are in an internet cafe that is monitored, visiting blocked websites could be dangerous. Exercise your best judgement to stay as safe as possible.
  • Ultrasurf runs on on Microsoft Windows, and cannot be held accountable for security problems with Windows itself. For this reason, we encourage users to install Windows security updates and employ anti-virus tools.
  • By default, Ultrasurf automatically sets the proxy for Internet Explorer. In rare instances, however, the Internet Explorer proxy may not be set properly, due to user errors or potential Internet Explorer or Microsoft Windows issues. In such cases, traffic may not be routed through the Ultrasurf encrypted tunnel. To ensure that Ultrasurf is working properly, we encourage users to visit a website such as whatismyip.com, and ensure that the IP when using Ultrasurf is changed.
  • Ultrasurf automatically clears cookies and browsing history when users close the session. However, if the Ultrasurf sessions are not properly closed, for instance, if Windows crashes, there is a chance that the data will not be cleared. If this occurs, users should begin a new session with Ultrasurf and exit properly. Alternatively, users can manually clear history, cookies and browser cache, or use other tools to do so.
  • If users change default settings to open Ultrasurf with Firefox or other browsers, they are responsible for ensuring browser proxy is properly setup to guarantee that traffic is being routed through Ultrasurf’s encrypted tunnel. To verify that the software is working correctly, users may verify that their IP address has been changed by visiting sites such as whatismyip.com.
  • If using a browser that is not Internet Explorer, we encourage users to manually clear browser cache, cookies and history, or use other tools to do so.
  • We also encourage users to store Ultrasurf on a flash drive or other external device, and run the tool from that rather than saving it on the computer, especially important for use on public computers or in internet cafes. There is a short cut Ctl+Alt+D to quit Ultrasurf and delete all temporary files, then quit Ultrasurf properly before unplugging the drive.

What Ultrasurf is not

Ultrasurf is not intended to be used for illicit or illegal activities online, and Ultrasurf does not condone such activities. As such, Ultrasurf employs an internal content filter to block pornographic and illicit content.

I have been using Ultrasurf for a while and really impressed with the QOS and speed I’m getting…. No caps and no limit.. Though I recommend to avoid using secure sites like Gmail and bank account using this software as you will be using 3rd party proxy server
