Dr. Dawit is a postdoctoral researcher Bremen University, Germany. His current research focus molecular genetics around fertilization process in plants to generate plants from three parents (triparentals; two fathers and one mother). He received his PhD in plant genetics from Giessen University, Germany. He also received his master’s degree plant biotechnology from Hannover University, Germany and Bachelor Degree in plant sciences from Alemaya University.
Dr. Bullo is a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Plant Pathology at the University of California at Davis. His current research focus is mainly the genetics of disease resistance in lettuce. He received his doctorate in genetics of disease resistance in barley from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. He obtained his master of science degree in Plant Biotechnology from Wageningen University, and a B.Sc. from Alemaya University.
