በኢትዮጵያ ጉብኝት ለማድረግ አዲስ አባባ የገባቸው ሮቦቷ ሶፊያ ነገ ከሰዓት በኋላ በሚሊኒየም አዳራሽ እንደምትቀርብ ተገለፀ።
የኢፌዴሪ ሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ሚኒስቴር የህዝብ ግንኙነት እና ኮሙዩኒኬሽን ዳይሬክተር አቶ አዲሱ ይርጋ ለፋና ብሮድካስቲንግ ኮርፖሬት እንደተናገሩት፥ የሮቦቷ ሶፊያ የተወሰነ ክፍል ዛሬ አዲስ አበባ ገብቷል።
የተወሰነ የሰውነት ክፍሏ ግን ጀርመን ውስጥ መረሳቱን ያስታወቁት አቶ አዲሱ፥ የሮቦቷ አካል ጠፋ የተባለው ትክክል አይደለም ብለዋል።
የቀረው የሮቦቷ አካልም በነገው እለት አዲስ አበባ እንደሚገባ እና አዲስ አበባ እንደደረሰም ሮቦቷ ተገጣጥማ በሚሊኒየም አዳራሽ ለእይታ ትቀርባለች ነው ያሉት።
ሶፊያን በተመለከተ መግለጫ በብሄራዊ ሙዚየም ይሰጣል ተብሎ የነበረው ጋዜጣዊ መግለጫም የሰውነት ክፍሏ ባለመሟላቱ መቅረቱን አስታውቀዋል።

Sophia is a social humanoid robot developed by Hong Kong-based company Hanson Robotics. Ethiopian AI developers from iCog Labs based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia participated in building Sophia. According to officials, about 67 percent of Sophia programmed in Ethiopia.
In October 2017, Sophia, the robot became the first robot to receive citizenship of any country. In November 2017, Sophia was named the United Nations Development Programme’s first ever Innovation Champion, and the first non-human to be given any United Nations title.
